This past weekend was the Freedom 76er at Grandview Speedway. After starting 2nd in heat 3, Tom was able to keep finish 3rd and qualify for the nights 76 lap main event. The luck of the draw was not with the team for the feature as Tom chose the 26th starting position. Battling with cars in the rear of the field, a car on the high side of corner 4 bounced off of the wall making contact with the 37x, resulting in a flat left front tire. There was not enough time to change the tire before racing went green resulting in a 30th place DNF.

Plans for the rest of the season are unclear at the moment. Any future updates will be posted when decisions are made.

After a long period of time, the TNT Motorsports 37x team seems to have finally surpassed the small block motor woes for this season. After losing 3 fresh motors in a 2 month period (2 within a total of 14 laps) the 37x hit the high banks of Grandview Speedway with a fresh Chevy small block last Saturday evening. Tom battled his way through his heat after an early spin finishing 4th to qualify for the nights $10,000 to win feature. Battling a serious loose race car, Tom decided to pull off early and save what he could equipment wise. In the pits Tom said "Their was nothing I could do out there, the car was borderline out of control off of every corner." The team will be finishing the season out at Grandview Speedway on Saturday nights, with a few Big Block shows such as Tuesday's modified race at New Egypt Speedway.

July 31st, 2011

Motor issues continue to plague the 37x team. Saturday July 30th was supposed to be a glorious day for the team, we had just installed a brand new racing engine Thursday evening and believed we would have a great night up on the hill. While running 2nd in heat race #1, Tom took the white flag. As he entered turns one and two, the motor let loose without any notification. This is the third motor that has been in this car this season. So far, 2 brand new motors have been trashed, first came over a month ago and only made 3 laps before detonation, and this motor making 11 laps before it expired. Small block racing will be put on hold until further notice. A lot of time and money has been lost recently. Big Block racing will resume with Wednesday nights RoC race at Grandview Speedway. Any questions, feel free to email me at TNT_Motorsports37@yahoo.com. Thanks

The TNT Motorsports team has been quiet for the past month or so. Weekly racing at Grandview Speedway has been put on hold due to motor issues. The primary motor spun a bearing a few weeks back. The block was the only piece salvaged. The older motor was sent out to be freshened. After installing the new motor, the motor was started and a piston melted resulting in another bad motor.

Current Status: A Ford small block is being built as we speak. Until that is complete, the team will be Big Block racing at various tracks. June 7th, the team will be heading to Penn Can for the RoC Modifieds race.

Recent races: The team traveled to Rolling Wheels raceway for there recent DIRT event. Tom qualified for the event and finished 27th.

April 4th, 2011

This past weekend was opening night for the Nascar 358 Modifieds and Late Models at Grandview Speedway. The weather was a bit chilly but many loyal race fans came out to enjoy the action.

Tom started deep in his heat race. The track was heavy making it difficult to pass. He found a way towards the front but ran out of time and finished 5th. The top 4 cars qualified for the main event. Starting on the pole in the 2nd consolation event, Tom was able to hold the lead until he took a wild ride through turns 1 and 2. "I tried to stick the car in turn 1 up high to see how the track was running in, obviously there was nothing there but luckily I was able to hang on and not drop passed 3rd". He resulted in a 2nd place finish qualifying for the feature event. Tom was set to start 24th in the feature, but was sent to the rear for being late for lineups. After about half way, Tom found himself in 13th position, moving up through the field very quickly when some contact with another car took out the right front tire. The result was a DNF. We will return to Grandview Speedway next weekend.

January 30th, 2011

Plans for the 2011 season have been finalized. The TNT Motorsports 37x will be racing at Grandview Speedway weekly in the 358 modified division due to the scratching of the Big Block class at Bridgeport Speedway and NJ rule changes to chassis'. Tom will be driving a 2007 Bicknell chassis powered by a Doug Meyers built 358. The team will also be running special Big Block shows throughout the season at various tracks with a 2009 Teo Chassis powered by either a Doug Meyers Big Block or Enders Big Block. We plan on running some Dirt shows in hopes that our new motor/chassis setup will respond to changes better than previously. If you have any more questions, feel free to contact any one of us at TNT_Motorsports37@yahoo.com

We are just 2 days away from the 2010 BPG Freedom 76er at Grandview Speedway. Tommy will be attending with his Teo Chassis 358 Small Block Chevy to hopefully come home with another great finish. In 2009, Tommy raced his way from a 28th starting position to a 6th place finish. In the closing laps, he restarted in the top 5 after a late caution but the tires were just too worn to hold the position and slipped back to 6th with a handful of laps remaining.

September 10th, 2010

The Coalcracker 100 at Big Diamond Raceway was nothing short of exciting. Tommy was holding his own and running very well till a right rear axle broke resulting in a DNF. 8 cars finished the event due to a mid race pile up and many mechanical failures.

August 20th, 2010

The schedule for the rest of the season will be random and unclear. For right now, the 37x will make appearances at Grandview Speedway weekly. We will be racing the Coalcracker 100 and the Freedom 76r. The new 2010 Teo Chassis will be used with the Enders Big Block motor for Big Block races. If that is completed soon, we will try to get some big block races in at Bridgeport or New Egypt and possibly some special shows.

August 19th, 2010

Last nights 358 modified and World of Outlaws Late Model event was canceled due to the threat of rain. We were looking forward to the nights events. We had a special driver for the owners race. Would have been a very exciting night indeed.

This weekends race plans are unclear at the moment, updates will be posted on main page when a conclusion is made. Also, TNT_Motorsports has been using the old small block Bicknell/motor for the past few weeks. There is a good reason for that. Tommy has ordered a new 2010 Teo Chassis as well as sent the primary small block motor out for a freshen. We plan on having the car ready before the season is out.

June 13th, 2010

This weekends racing was threatened by rain which is usually the case on the east coast. The 37x crew ventured to Grandview Speedway on Saturday night to test and tune 2 cars. Tommy took what we call "The Experimental" Small Block Bicknell car that has been thrown together with parts around the shop for a test drive for the regular nights action. He also towed the Big Block car to get some practice laps in for Tuesday nights Thunder on the Hill Traffic Jam 100. We look forward to seeing everyone at Grandview Speedway this Tuesday. Stop down at the TNT Motorsports 37x trailer to say hello.

June 2nd, 2010

The weather was warm for last weeks racing at Big Diamond Raceway Friday night and Bridgeport Speedway Saturday night. Tommy raced his way to an 8th place finish in the 358 modified feature at Big Diamond Raceway. Bridgeport hosted dual 20 lap features Saturday night in the Big Block Division. The car was fast all night and Tom came home with 2 more top 10 finishes with 7th in the first feature and 8th in the second.

May 10th, 2010

Last weekend the 37x crew made the trips to Big Diamond Raceway on Friday night and Bridgeport Speedway on Saturday night. Tom came home with a 17th place at Big Diamond and a 19th place at Bridgeport. Next week will be Big Diamond on Friday night and Bridgeport on Saturday night.

May 3rd, 2010

The 37x crew ventured to Big Diamond Raceway Friday night with hopes of a good run. Tommy came home in 1 piece with a 17th place finish. Saturday the crew decided to take the big block to Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey. Tommy has run Bridgeport less than a handful of times in his career. The car seemed to work well and he was able to motor his way around the track at a great pace. He came home with a 7th place finish.

April 18th, 2010

It was a chilly night at the Bechtelsville, PA oval. Racing was tough with the dry slick track allowing minimal passing as the race went on. Tommy started the night off with a heat race win giving him a 6th place starting position for the feature. Holding his ground, Tom was able to finish 4th place for a great night up on the hill.

Plans for next weekend as of right now include Bridgeport Speedway.

April 5th, 2010

What a beautiful weekend it was for some exciting dirt track racing. TNT Motorsports began the weekend with Friday nights Big Block Modified feature event at Big Diamond Raceway. Starting in the 8th position, Tommy was able to keep out of trouble, avoiding the many accidents in the caution filled race. The end result was a 7th place finish.
Saturday night kicked off the start if Grandviews Speedway's season. Tom was plagued with tire issues and managed to finish 3rd in the 3rd consi event to qualify for the feature. Starting in the rear of the field, the 37x went down a lap early in the event. The end result was a 26th place finish.

April 1st, 2010

TNT Motorsports has decided to not run a double header Friday at Big Diamond Raceway. Instead, Tommy will only be competing in the Big Block feature and saving the small block car for Grandview Speedways season opener on Saturday the 3rd. The decision came late Wednesday night as the crew was working on completing the small block car. We have 2 small block cars in the shop at the moment but only one has been finished.

March 29th, 2010

Hagerstown Speedway was the host to the Big Block Modifieds on Saturday. The 37x team battled vigorously but was unable to qualify for the main event. The team made the trip to Big Diamond Raceway for the Big Block Modifieds event on Sunday. Things were looking up as Tommy was able to lead his entire heat race and take the victory. Mother nature hindered the start of the nights feature causing the race to be canceled. The big block modified feature will be made up Friday with a full regular show to follow.  Tommy will be starting 8th.

March 22nd, 2010

The TNT Motorsports crew made there 2010 debut at Selinsgrove this past weekend. Troubled with a broken/swaying rear after the heat race, the car was unable to handle to the likes of the driver.

Our next race will be the big block event this weekend at Hagerstown.
